There is a setting in BIOS to enable/disable mapping of IO addresses above 4GB, and in newer versions it also lets you choose how much to allocate, but no matter what I pick from that menu, I get error 0146. However, now that the parts are here, I ran into several issues.ฤก) Newer versions of BIOS don't work with GTX690 at all - they produce an error "0146 PCI out of resources error" on POST, and Windows doesn't see any attached GPUs. Initially I wanted to use a Dell PowerEdge T620 as the base, but the GPU connection kit is not available over here, so I went with the Intel system instead. Intel P4304CR2LFKN (4U/pedestal chassis, W2600CR motherboard, 1600W PSU, optional 2nd PSU) The configuration I put together is as follows: The two limitations I do have are (1) I cannot use Tesla, as the target application does not support it, and (2) me being in Israel, exotic solutions are not available, it has to be built using locally available parts. I got a request to build a system with as much CUDA power in a single OS instance as humanly possible, money being (almost) no object.
